Abstract: Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan RGSA is a ground-up program aimed at boosting rural India’s democratic structure and promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth. This abstract summarises the scheme's objectives, key elements, and potential effects, the report focuses on evaluating the effectiveness and drawbacks of the program and discovering various possible perspectives through secondary sources. Various literature and articles from different online search engines over the last decade were referred to the major findings found, RGSA is an important step towards enhancing the PRIs role of the government could encourage more efficient and participatory governance at the local level thereby, contributing to the country's advancement. The program has the ability to lower regional disparities, increase accountability and enhance service delivery. It promotes more sustainable and equitable development by allowing marginalized rural communities to actively participate in local decision-making. The adoption of RGSA is crucial step towards realizing the goals of inclusive development and rural self-governance which will eventually boost rural economic growth.
