Abstract: The connection between the laws of control and the frequency range of the workflow of the complete electric drives of the computer numeric controlled machine tools is considered. The use of mathematic modelling for the examination of the frequency range of the control systems of the electric drives is justified. The dynamics of the automatic control system is researched when using different types of current and speed controllers. The utility of choosing the law of control in complete electric drives according to the frequency range of the workflow is proved
