Abstract: This approach enhances fake news detection by combining augmented prompt methodologies on LLMs with the power of Knowledge Graphs (KGs). Augmented prompts involve refining and expanding queries to capture the context and nuances of news content more effectively. When integrated with KGs, which provide structured information and relationships between entities, this method improves the accuracy of identifying misinformation. KGs offer a rich, contextual backdrop that helps the system discern between real and fake news by validating facts against a vast network of interconnected data. The result is a more robust, context-aware fake news detection system.
