Abstract: Psychological counseling on professional self-determination helps people in the process of choosing or reviewing their professional activities. It also includes their career planning and considers many opportunities provided by society, as well as individual characteristics and personality features. This approach allows a person to make conscious decisions about their future profession, and focus on their strengths and interests in the context of real opportunities in the labor market. The article discusses various approaches of psychological counseling on professional self-determination, which can be used in career guidance work with students of higher education institutions.
