Abstract: Sennius aureomicans var. nigricolor (Pic, 1930). New combination. Bruchus aureomicans var. nigricolor Pic, 1930a: p. 10. From label: “Rep. Argentina / Prov. Buenos Aires / C. Bruch ” [Argentina]. Syntype female deposited in the MACN. This specimen bears a “ Holotype ” label. However, the original publication does not designate a holotype nor does it indicate the number of specimens examined. Because no lectotype has been published, this must therefore be considered a syntype.
