Abstract: Emotional intelligence (EI) has gained significant attention in recent decades as an essential component in cognitive and educational development. This paper explores the role of emotional intelligence specifically in the context of language acquisition, highlighting its impact on learning efficiency, communication, and cultural adaptation. By reviewing the current body of literature on EI in the process of acquiring foreign languages, this study outlines the psychological factors that interact with EI, influencing how individuals learn new languages.
