Search For Organics: A Programmable Search Engine Innovation for the Global Organic Market

Abstract: This paper presents a novel search engine concept based on embedding the keyword “organic” into every query within a programmable Google Custom Search Engine (CSE). The goal is to increase the visibility of legally certified organic products and content online. A working prototype, Search For Organics (https://searchfororganicsofficial.blogspot.com), demonstrates this functionality. The paper describes the rationale, method, implementation, and early observational insights, while also emphasizing the legal definitions of “organic” as foundational to the system. Future work is proposed to evaluate usability, certification accuracy, and potential for scalable adoption.
