Abstract: Acanthoderes (Acanthoderes) laportei Aurivillius, 1923 (Figs. 22a–b) Material Examined (1). [Female]. Peru: Lima / Summer 1899 / coll. G. Löfgren // Acanthoderes / thammi Bates / det. E.H. Nearns 2013 // MZLU 00217357. Distribution. French Guiana, Ecuador, Brazil, and Peru (Monné 2024b; Roguet 2024; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). Acanthoderes (A.) laportei is recorded from Peru but without specific locality (Monné & Chaboo 2015; Monné 2024b, Roguet 2024; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). Thus, Lima is the first record of region and locality for the species in Peru.
