On Optimization Method for Wave Equation in a Parallelepiped

Abstract: In this paper the mixed conditions problem is considered for the wave equation in two-dimensional case. A theorem on uniqueness of the solution of the appropriate inverse problem is proved. In the optimal control problem compared to the inverse problem, a theorem on the existence of an optimal control is proved, sufficient and necessary condition of optimality is derived in the form of variational inequality.
