Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Accurate staging is crucial for determining the best treatment for non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Early-stage NSCLC is usually treated with surgery. For locally advanced NSCLC, a combination of chemotherapy, radiation, and sometimes surgery is used. In metastatic NSCLC, chemotherapy has been proven to improve survival and quality of life. This discussion will cover the various surgical, chemotherapy, and radiation treatment options, as well as the benefits of combining these therapies for different stages of NSCLC.
