Abstract: 16.3 Genus Helictes Haliday, 1837 Helictes Haliday in Curtis, 1837: 106. Type species Ichneumon erythrostoma Gmelin, 1790, by subsequent designation by Westwood (1840: 58). Comments. Porter (1998) mentions an unidentified species spread from the Región Metropolitana to the Región Aysén del General Carlos Ibáñez del Campo.
