Abstract: The environmental and health risks associated with the production and use of synthetic dyes have led to increased interest in safer alternatives. This study investigates herbal hair dyes that provide long-lasting color without causing hair damage, hair loss, or skin irritation, offering a safer option compared to synthetic dyes. Additionally, the active ingredients in these herbal dyes help protect the hair from long-term damage. The manufacture of synthetic dyes poses health risks to workers and contributes to environmental pollution, while their use can lead to undesirable side effects for consumers
