Abstract: "Iran's Knowledge" in 2017 provides an analysis of Iran's scientific publications from various perspectives. This work aims to monitor the scientific contributions of Iranians globally by analyzing data from two global indices, Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus. The book is divided into five key sections: comprehensive statistics on Iran's scientific publications, the contributions of institutions to scientific publishing, Iran's role in the production of global and regional scientific publications, the ratio of scientific publications to fundamental indicators, and the impact of Iranian scientific publications. While other reports in the country provide separate statistics on Iran's scientific publications in WoS and Scopus, "Iran's Knowledge" uniquely clarifies the overlap between these two databases and reports accurate statistics on Iran's scientific publications worldwide for the first time. This feature makes "Iran's Knowledge" a one-of-a-kind work that cannot be found elsewhere. The book identifies the names of Iranian institutions, standardizes their names, and consolidates their publications. Additionally, "Iran's Knowledge" analyzes and reports on the national collaboration of Iranian institutions. Statistics on scientific publications based on various organizational affiliations (such as the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology; the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education; Islamic Azad University, etc.) are also available in "Iran's Knowledge."
