Code for Future Climate Change Exacerbates Streamflow Depletion in the Wei River Basin, China
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This repository contains a suite of Python scripts for preprocessing climate, land use, and hydrological data to support streamflow depletion modeling in the Wei River Basin. The scripts convert raw NetCDF and raster inputs into analysis-ready formats, simulate Irrigation Water Requirements (IWR), calculate groundwater–river distances, and quantify well-induced depletion using Analytical Depletion Functions (ADFs). All file paths are parameterized for easy modification and reproducibility. The code supports high-resolution spatial analysis, batch processing, and integration with climate scenario simulations (e.g., SSP126–SSP585).
