"Fault Detection Machine Using Sensors
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This project focuses on the design and development of a Fault Detection Machine Using Sensors for tubeless tire stem valves. The system employs IR sensors, LDR sensors, and NPN inductive proximity sensors to detect faults in the valves during the manufacturing process. The machine identifies inverted products, checks for the presence of the core, and verifies product length to ensure quality control. The conveyor system operates using a 100 RPM Johnson Geared Motor (DC 12V), controlled by a PWM Motor Speed Controller. The project emphasizes automation, real-time fault detection, and product quality improvement, aligning with Industry 4.0 concepts.
