Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: A school is a complex organization with a diverse population; each group having conflicting needs that demand attention. If conflicts are not properly managed and resolved, they can lead to the loss of property, lives, and valuable academic hours. The Head teacher serves as the primary conflict manager, and their knowledge of effective conflict management strategies is essential for maintaining a conducive learning environment and achieving educational objectives at the primary level. This paper examines the current state of conflict management, its consequences, and strategies that Head teachers can adopt for effective conflict resolution to enhance educational outcomes in primary schools.
