Abstract: We confirm the occurrence of the Anchor Coralsnake, Micrurus ancoralis (Jan, 1872), in the tropical forests of the Eastern slopes of the Central Cordillera of Colombia in the Magdalena River Valley. This was achieved through the examination of a museum specimen from the department of Tolima and new records for the departments of Antioquia and Caldas from the citizen science platform iNaturalist.
