Abstract: This article discusses the main problems and prospects for the development of Uzbekistan's economy. The promising directions for economic development, such as the diversification of industry, the transition to a digital economy, the development of agro-technologies, and attracting international trade and investment, are considered. The article emphasizes the necessary measures to ensure economic growth in Uzbekistan and the importance of long-term reforms. It also discusses the need for further expanded reforms and new strategies for Uzbekistan’s economy to be competitive on a global scale.
