Advanced Microstrip Antenna Design for Optimal 5G Performance.
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: 5G communication systems are distinguished by their ability to deliver enhanced network coverage, low latency, and massive device connectivity. To support high data rates, 5G systems utilize a broad spectrum. Devices must incorporate suitable radiating structures to meet these stringent requirements. This paper presents a 3.6 GHz microstrip patch antenna specifically engineered for 5G applications. The antenna employs an FR4 substrate with a dielectric constant of 4.6 and a loss tangent of 0.023. The research rigorously analyzes various performance metrics, including VSWR, radiation pattern, return loss, and radiation efficiency.
