Abstract: Leading global oilfield service companies have been developing various solutions for many years in the field of drilling automation, engineering applications and simulators for designing and analyzing process indicators during well construction, digital assistants for making decisions during drilling. These companies have end-to-end digital solutions in their arsenal, from a step-by-step plan for drilling a well created in an engineering simulator to tools for automatic wellbore drilling along a specified trajectory and process/technical parameters. One of the most investment- and capital-intensive areas of field development is well drilling and the implementation of advanced production management methods based on digital twins, which can lead to a significant increase in efficiency, both in terms of production technology and economic indicators.
