Navigating Cognitive Overload in Hybrid Work Cultures: Micro-adaptive Behaviors and Ai-mediated Organizational Learning
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: As hybrid work environments become the new norm, cognitive overload among knowledge workers has emerged as a significant productivity and wellness concern. This paper explores the intersection of micro-adaptive behaviors and artificial intelligence (AI)-mediated learning within organizations to manage and reduce cognitive load. Micro-adaptations—individual, real-time behavioral adjustments—combined with AI-based support systems foster a dynamic, personalized ecosystem for improving attention management, workflow pacing, and employee engagement. Through empirical studies, flow models, and intelligent feedback systems, organizations can optimize decision-making and maintain sustainable cognitive equilibrium in complex digital environments.
