Abstract: This article will discuss the basic concept of modular construction, the history of its origin and development, a number of advantages and disadvantages, what technologies are developing in this sector of construction, as well as analyses and studies of existing projects. The main results of modular construction are significant reduction of time and costs, sustainability and environmental friendliness, as well as adaptation to different requirements and conditions, such as seismicity, weather conditions, soil, etc.
