Abstract: Since the emergence of the new poetry movement in Tamil, many new poems have come out with good thoughts. Many contemporary political poems like “We bought at night, it is still not dawn”. Poems on love, class, society, science, Marxism, feminism, nationalism, Dravidianism, Dalitism, and ecology are continuously being written by poets. The purpose of this article is to talk about some of these poems on feminism, Dalitism, and ecology. There are many feminist writers like Ambai, Kamaladas, Amritha Pritham, Ismat Suktai in our motherland. They have written many novels and short stories. Many Dalit novels have been published in languages like Tamil, Kannada, and Marathi. Amitakoshi’s novel on the environment is a very famous novel.
