Tackling malaria with the power of biometrics

Abstract: Malaria remains the leading cause of death in Ghana, and the main cause of outpatient visits. However, the new malaria vaccine, RTS,S/AS01, can reduce severe malaria cases that are admitted to hospital by 30%, and new vaccines continue to appear with a promise of efficacy up to 80%. Explore this digital poster to learn more about how the groundbreaking work of Simprints and Ghana Health Services is improving access to critical maternal and vaccine services across two regions of Ghana.
