Ethical Leadership in Sustainable Development: Balancing Growth and Responsibility

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This research explores the evolving nature of leadership in contemporary organizations, highlighting the need for ethical, flexible, and sustainable practices. It critically compares leading leadership models—Avery’s, Patterson’s, and the Knight-Patterson Model—identifying key gaps in adaptability, leadership succession, and CSR integration. Supported by real-world case studies from Vietnamese businesses and Southwest Airlines, the paper proposes a new leadership framework that embeds Corporate Social Responsibility into leadership training and embraces a continuous cycle of leadership development. Readers will gain deep insights into building resilient, responsible, and future-ready leaders for modern organizations.
