Abstract: The following files are saved in pzfx format and can be open using graphpad Prism. 1) Main Figure 1 key data Contain the results of behavioural performance under optogenetic inhibition in Figure 1. 2) Main Figure 2 key data Contain the results of drift diffusion modelling (DDM) in Figure 2. Accompanying MATLAB code for the DDM is saved in “simulate_ddm_ver4.m”. 3) Main Figure 3 key data Contain the results of behavioural performance of calcium imaging mice in Figure 3. 4) Main Figure 4 key data Contain the results of population data analysis for dimensionality, dPCA and rotation prevalence index in Figure 4. 5) Main Figure 5 key data Contain the results of time cell fraction and temporal characterisation of population activity in Figure 5. 6) Main Figure 6 key data Contain the results of the fraction of Motor decreased/increased neurons and their waiting correlation indices in Figure 6.
