Abstract: Open Energy Metadata (OEMetadata) is a metadata standard and metadata schema for the energy domain.The OEMetaBuilder is a user-friendly web interface for creating, editing and validating metadata on the Open Energy Platform (OEP). A built-in ontology lookup service simplifies annotation with the Open Energy Ontology (OEO), ensuring accurate and consistent metadata integration.It supports the description of datasets with multiple resources (tables) and includes additional features such as scientific context (research project), spatial and temporal dimensions, data sources, applied licenses, and chronological provenance.
