Reconceptualizing the Gene as a Memory-Embedded Informational Structure.

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: : This article presents a comprehensive exploration of the ψ–Hamzah model for understanding the nature of genes and their interaction with consciousness, memory, and meaning within the framework of nonlinear dynamics and quantum field theory. Unlike classical genetic models that view genes merely as biological data carriers for protein synthesis, the ψ–Hamzah approach redefines the gene as a semantic generator embedded in the ψ field, which is a nonlocal, memory-retentive, and meaning-coupled informational field. The concept of emergence plays a central role, where meaning arises not simply from static genetic sequences but through dynamic interactions between genetic structures, memory fields, semantic phases, and time. The article systematically investigates the interplay between ψ–fields, genetic structures, and consciousness, positing that genes are not mere biological units but are integrally linked with cosmic memory, cultural patterns, and higher consciousness. Through mathematical modeling and numerical simulations, it demonstrates how genes operate dynamically within the ψ field, influencing their expression through semantic synchronization and memory feedback loops. Key sections of the article detail the theoretical foundations of the model, the nature of ψ–fields, the mathematical formulation of gene behavior in curved time, and the role of memory coupling in genetic evolution. The study suggests that genetic behavior is far more complex than the classical view of random mutations and natural selection, proposing instead that genes emerge as semantic entities capable of interacting with universal consciousness. The final segments address the practical implications of the ψ–Hamzah model, including its potential applications in neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and bioethics, along with a numerical simulation illustrating the dynamic behavior of genes within this novel framework. The model not only challenges current understandings of genetics but also invites a paradigm shift, offering new avenues for research into the nature of life, consciousness, and the linguistic structure of existence.
