Abstract: IDEAS-QA4EO - WPs2250-2251 - Rome Tor Vergata HCHO MAX-DOAS dataset The directory:profiles_RTV_HCHO_1year- contains the profiles of HCHO retrieved with the DEAP code using RTV MAX-DOAS measurements.- the files cover 1 year of data from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022.- the files are named as res_HCHO_YYMMDD_scan_ZZ_real.dat YYMMDD -- YY are the two final numbers of the year, MM is the month, DD is the day ZZ -- the scan number of each MAX-DOAS sequence - each file contains 6 columns with the altitude in km, the value oh HCHO in mol/cm3, the associated errors (retrieval and smoothing), the a-priori HCHO profile and the associated a-priori error (all in mol/cm3) The directory:VCDs_DEAP_RTV_HCHO_1year- contains the VCD and surface values of HCHO retrieved with the DEAP code using RTV MAX-DOAS measurements.- the files cover 1 year of data from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022.- the files are named as YYMMDD_HCHO_surf_tropo_DEAP.dat YYMMDD -- YY are the two final numbers of the year, MM is the month, DD is the day- each file contains 8 columns with : sequence #, the time, the value oh HCHO in mol/cm3 at surface, the tropospheric HCHO VCD in molec/cm2, the corresponding error, the azimuth of the scan used for the retrieval, the cloud flagging and quality filter.
