Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: This study explores the comparative analysis of Uzbek and English tales, focusing on their themes, motifs, and cultural contexts. It highlights the universal themes present in both traditions, such as the struggle between good and evil, the journey of self-discovery, and the importance of kindness. The research emphasizes how cultural contexts shape the presentation of these themes, showcasing common motifs in Uzbek tales, such as valor, wisdom, and familial loyalty, contrasted with the individualism and personal growth emphasized in English tales. By examining specific examples, the study illustrates the distinct narrative structures and character portrayals that reflect the values and beliefs of each culture, ultimately revealing the interconnectedness of language, culture, and storytelling.
