Abstract: The paper presents a study of the ichthyofauna of the Prądnik River basin. In addition, the ichthyofauna of ponds in Ojców National Park is analysed. The results are compared with historical studies and the reasons behind the disappearance of certain fish species are identified. Surveys in ONP were carried out in 2021 and 2023. Eight fish species were recorded in the Prądnik River and six species in the ONP ponds. In the entire Prądnik basin, excluding the ONP ponds, eight fish species were recorded.
