Innovative Techniques in Wireless Communication: Integrated Waveform Design, Physical Layer Security and ISAC Applications in Industry 4.0 and Beyond 5G
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Wireless communication systems underpin modern tech-nologies, driving advances in personal connectivity, industrial automation, and societal infrastructure. The emer-gence of Beyond 5G (B5G) networks and the evolution ofIndustry 4.0 present new challenges and opportunities. Appli-cations such as smart factories, autonomous systems, and IoTecosystems require ultra-reliable, low-latency communication(URLLC), enhanced security, and efficient resource utilization. This paper investigates key innovations in wireless com-munication, including waveform design, uplink and downlinkstrategies, physical layer security (PLS), and Joint Radar andCommunication (JRC). These technologies form the founda-tion for Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), atransformative approach that combines communication andsensing within a unified system. By addressing challenges suchas multipath effects, interference, and spectral efficiency, thisstudy provides insights into the future of wireless communi-cation systems.
