Coordinator Roles on Teacher Work-Life Balance: A Two-Way Anova in Gender and Development and Drug Education Program

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the impact of program implementation, specifically the Gender and Development (GAD) Program and the National Drug Education Program (NDEP), on teachers’ work-life balance in selected public schools. Utilizing a descriptive-comparative research design, data were gathered from 160 teachers and analyzed using descriptive statistics and Two-Way ANOVA. Findings revealed that the implementation of both GAD and NDEP programs was generally moderately extensive, particularly in curriculum integration and awareness campaign initiatives. Teachers reported extensive work-life balance levels, especially regarding time management and job satisfaction, although stress and burnout remained significant concerns. The results of the Two-Way ANOVA showed that both GAD implementation had statistically significant main effects on work-life balance. However, their interaction effect was insignificant indicating that the programs function independently in influencing teacher well-being. The study concludes that strengthening the implementation of GAD and NDEP through institutional support and teacher-focused interventions can improve educators' professional satisfaction and personal equilibrium. Moreover, it suggests that despite positive program implementation, external factors may still negatively impact teachers' overall well-being.
