The Problem of the Reader's Image in the Turkic Monument of the Xiv Century – "mukhabbat-name"
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: One of the most striking works of the Turkic world, "Mukhabbat-name", which originated in the XIII-XV centuries, became the main official language of the Golden Horde state for subsequent generations. In "Mukhabbat-nama" it is completely subordinated to the literary style of that era, in the work the main semantic center of the work is Divine love. The religious teaching of the XIV century, in which the poet lived, can be traced to the conduct of the Tariqa and Tasauf schools, which for a long time were the religious school of Islam. It is even known that most of the works written in relation to Tariqa and Tasauf are characteristic of the XIII-XV centuries. An implicit reader of a literary text is an "ideal" reader of the author, fully aware of the poet, aware of the path of love in the Sufi worldview, having an understanding of the literary codes and concepts used in the work. It can be concluded that the presence in the imagination of the poet (imaginary reader) when writing a literary text, and the time of writing the text were also reflected in the poet's mind and influenced the style, the establishment of the dialogical character of the literary text. Khorezmi's Muhabbat-nameh presents purely Sufi concepts and issues of Tariqa and hakikat in comparison with the works of his time, although they were not clearly formulated, but the main idea is based on the Sufi worldview.
