Abstract: The rise of digital platforms like YouTube has transformed global access to knowledge, enabling powerful, decentralized educational ecosystems. Despite this potential, such platforms lack structured validation, guided learning pathways, and recognized credentialing. This paper introduces the Helix Originator—a transformative framework that formalizes YouTube University, a metaphor for decentralized, video-based learning. By integrating Decentralized Science (DeSci) principles, AI-powered content curation, blockchain-secured credentials, and persistent identifiers (DOIs), the Helix Originator bridges the gap between informal and formal education. It empowers learners worldwide, democratizes access, and paves the way for a new era of credible, inclusive global education.
