Abstract: ISTAT calculates the value of Italy’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices. The data refer to the period between 2014 and 2023. The analysis of Italy’s GDP from 2014 to 2023 provides an interesting overview of the country's economic health, highlighting an overall positive trend in absolute terms, albeit with significant fluctuations. During this decade, Italy’s GDP at market prices grew from €1.743 trillion in 2014 to €1.917 trillion in 2023, demonstrating an underlying economic expansion. However, this growth was not linear, as it was influenced by various internal and external factors, notably the COVID-19 pandemic, which had a profound impact on the global economy and Italy in particular.
