Abstract: The life thoughts of the ancient Tamils can be known through ancient traditions, customs and cultures. Today's human life has become a mechanical neo-civilized life. It is a fact that in such a technological life, man does not take time to take care of himself. Therefore, since the structure of the Saiva tradition will provide an opportunity for today's generation to learn the behavioral methods for living with morality by highlighting it, the main purpose of this article is to record the ideas of the Saiva tradition, which includes thoughts such as the history of the emergence of Saiva religion, nature as God, the subjugation of the five senses, the tradition of maintaining the body, the meaning of birth, the rules of life shown by Thirumoolar, and the elimination of desire.
