Abstract: This paper explores the application of Artificial Intelligence in smart attendance and monitoring systems, highlightinghow AI enhances automation, accuracy, and real-time analytics. Traditional methods are increasingly replaced by AIdriven solutions using facial recognition, computer vision, and machine learning for seamless attendance tracking andbehavioral monitoring. The study delves into system architecture, underlying technologies, and use cases acrosseducation, corporate, and industrial sectors. It also addresses challenges such as privacy, model bias, and security risks.The paper concludes that AI offers a scalable and intelligent alternative to manual processes, setting the foundation forfuture workplace and institutional transformation.
