Distribution in Nepal: Bagmati Province, Kathmandu District, Chandragiri and Tokha municipalities (Singh, 2022). Distribution elsewhere. Africa; America; Asia: Bangladesh, China, Iran, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Syria, Turkey; Europe; Australia, Hawaii, New Zealand (Gates 1958a, 1972; Blakemore 2012, 2013b; Stojanović & Milutinović, 2013; Lehmitz et al. 2014; Makin et al. 2014; Reynolds & Mısırlıoğlu 2018; Szederjesi et al. 2019; Ahmed et al. 2020; Reynolds 2022; Szederjesi 2023). Habitat: Abandoned land, crop field, gravel and sandy lawn (Singh 2022). Ecology: Endogeic (Jänsch et al. 2013). Remarks: It has been recorded from the cultivated sites and nearby areas, further study is essential to know whether it is peregrine or native in occurrence.
