Abstract: This discussion sheds light on the importance of the quality of Contentment in the life of human beings. Examples and instances are presented from the life of the Holy Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad S.A.W, his wives and his companions. Furthermore, in this discussion, I have also elaborated and argued extensively on the meaning of contentment. To support my arguments I have quoted from the Holy Quran as well as Hadith Sharif and proved that Islam pays greater significance and attention to the attributes of contentment. In conclusion, I have provided suggestions to adopt contentment for a happy, peaceful and prosperous life in this material age.
