Do Stars Bloom? — A Structural Hypothesis of Stellar Recursion and Hawking Pollen

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This essay explores the poetic yet structural question: “Do stars bloom, like flowers?” By reframing supernovae as instantaneous blooms and black holes as delayed blooms, the paper proposes a recursive life-cycle model that spans stars, black holes, and cosmic dust. Hawking radiation is interpreted as “pollen,” completing a cosmic loop of structural regeneration. The paper argues that “life” should not be restricted to biological systems, but defined structurally as: Energy transformation Self-maintaining architecture Recursive participation in future systems From this perspective, stars, flowers, and black holes all qualify as “living structures” within a universal cycle of emergence and decay. An open question is proposed: “Does information lost in a black hole eventually return as ‘pollen’ via Hawking radiation?” This framework blends astrophysics, philosophy of life, and speculative recursion into a unified conceptual essay.
