Evolution of Esp as the Methodology of Teaching Foreign Languages for Professional Purposes in Uzbek Non-linguistic Universities

Abstract: The article considers the issue of ESP evolution in foreign language teaching at non-linguistic universities. On the base of ESP and CLIL comparative analysis, the authors substantiate the shift to subject-oriented FL teaching that contributes to formation of FL professional communicative competence of a specialist. The content of a professional didactic competency of non-linguistic university EPP teacher is considered.
