Abstract: 1-Phenylazo-2-naphthol compound was synthesised and shows yield 13.46gm. Synthesis occur by diazotisation reaction. In Characteristic study various parameters are measure like UV spectra, TLC, IR . The synthesized compound has been tested invitro against various bacteria’s in order to assess their antibacterial activity using pour plate method.
