An Innovative Defensive System to Reverse or Suppress the Nuclear Chain Reaction Post-Detonation: A Futuristic Engineering-Physical Vision

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: In light of escalating global nuclear threats and the limited efficacy of current defense systems in case of nuclear warheads reaching their targets, this paper presents an unprecedented proposal: a high-speed, automated defensive system capable of interrupting or neutralizing the nuclear chain reaction even after the detonation has commenced. The proposed system integrates advanced neutron-absorbing materials, cryogenic technologies, and rapid-response mechanisms positioned strategically in anticipated target zones. The study outlines the scientific feasibility, materials engineering, and system architecture of such a defense solution, potentially reshaping global nuclear security doctrines.
