How to Team Across Difference: Strategies for Working Together. AIM ECR Interdisciplinarity Day at the University of Edinburgh
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: On October 24, 2024, the Early-Career Researchers (ECRs) from AIM-CISC had the pleasure to host the AIM ECR Interdisciplinarity Day at the University of Edinburgh. This full-day workshop was part of the training and networking opportunities offered by the AIM Research Support Facilities ECR Network, targeted at ECRs of the seven research projects funded by the NIHR (AIM-CISC is one of them) as part of the AI for Multiple long-term conditions programme (AIM). Due to the large complexity of these interdisciplinary projects and thanks to the encouragement and support of the AIM Research Support Facilities (AIM RSF), we decided to organise this event to provide training on skills essential for cross-disciplinary collaborations, a space to sharing our experiences and lessons learned from working in the AIM projects guidance and discussion for how to successfully pursue an interdisciplinary research career More details about the event can be found here.
