Abstract: 8. Kalanchoe longiflora Schltr. ex Wood (1903: t. 320) (Fig. 7). Type:— SOUTH AFRICA.Natal[Kwazulu-Natal province]. Near the brook Dumbeni,Weenen District[–2830 (Dundee): between Greytown and Weenen (–CD)], 15 April 1891, Medley Wood 4439 (lectotype NH barcode NH0005206- 0 [regarded as holotype by Tölken (1985: 69), corrected to lectotype by Smith (2023b)]; isolectotype K barcode K000232852! [specimen accessible for examination online at http://specimens.kew.org/herbarium/K000232852]). Iconography:—Smith et al. (2019), Smith (2023b). Secondary distribution:— Spain = cited by Randall (2017). Notes:— Fernandes (1980: 400) discussed the nomenclature of the name K. longiflora but did not designate a lectotype for the name. Smith (2023b) corrected the type citation from holotype to lectotype, summarised the history of the discovery of the species, and resolved the author attribution of the name.
