Beyond Time IV: τ-Field Propulsion and the Possibility of Faster-Than-Light Travel
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This fourth whitepaper in the Beyond Time series explores how reinterpreting time as an emergent scalar field (τ), rather than a fundamental dimension, opens the door to a novel theoretical form of space traversal that exceeds traditional light-speed limitations. By understanding the interaction between entropy, state transitions, and the speed of light (c) within the τ-framework, we propose a mechanism of "τ-gradient propulsion" whereby a vessel moves through space not by violating c, but by altering its relationship to the ambient rate of change (τ) in the universe.
