Abstract: Protocols for Enhancing Postoperative Recovery have improved perioperative care byincreasing better outcomes and reducing postoperative complications as well has reduced costs ofhealth care both before and after operation. This article we will discuss the impact of Protocols forEnhancing Postoperative Recovery on postoperative outcomes in various major surgeries(especially abdominall), key benefits, challenges in its implementation. As the topic suggest thatthis protocol helps in reducing post operative complications as well as use of opioids or otheranesthetic drugs during hospital stay duration and thus promoting early recovery. Even thoughpractice of this protocol has many benefits there are certain limitations related to differences inprotocol and policies of different institution . So we should come to common standard approachesin various multidisciplinary approaches for effectiveness of Protocols for Enhancing PostoperativeRecovery.
