This paper therefore explores the transformational leadership approach as a means for enhancing effective sermon delivery. The paper examines how the principles of transformational leadership such as role modeling, inspirational motivational and individualized consideration, can be integrated into the act of sermon delivery to inspire and motivate congregations for genuine transformation. The paper was able to demonstrate that preachers who apply transformational leadership principles can significantly improve the impact of their sermons, which can lead to greater spiritual growth among the congregation. The paper concludes that adopting transformational leadership approach in sermon delivery will help motivate and inspire listeners to take decisions that will help them discover and maximize their hidden potentials which can result into a transformation in their lives.
