Societal-Binary, Hyperopia-Myopia or for the first time: Attempting Global Emmetropia
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Dear readers, dear Global Forums, shared tools, goods, medicines, inventions, developmemt mean a shared future.A plea for a global vision alignment. In a world where no single individual can develop or manage the technologies that will shape our future alone, this essay is a wake up call. We don't all share the same moral code, but we all face the same existential choice: self-preservation or self-determination. Through the metaphor of human vision contrasted with myopia, hyperopia, and emmetropia, the text defines sustainability as more than just a legal or technical issue. It becomes a matter of collective vision and shared responsibility, even without a shared moral ccodes. We simply can not manage to have uniform values. But we collectively can preserve ourselves. The future will be shared as the present is shared beyond borders. Thus the action must also be shared beyond borders.
